Going over DVD
The Scottish Government has produced a DVD called "Going Over" to help inform drug uses, their families, friends and service providers about the risks associated with overdose and dispel some of the myths surrounding resuscitation.
"Going Over" presents four overdose scenarios that have been dramatised from real events.
The stories give clear and important messages about responding to overdoes: put unconscious people in the recovery position and dial 999.
Copies of the DVD will be available free to drug services in Scotland from early 2006.
